Imagine being 18 years old and alone in the world, without family or friends to help guide your path to adulthood. It’s no surprise that, without essential support, one in four former foster youth are homeless within the first few years of leaving foster care, only half will have stable employment by age 24, and almost half end up dependent on public assistance.
Want to help break the cycle of foster care and invest in Just in Time’s thriving solution? We have multiple ways you can give: sponsor an event or service, host a corporate mini-drive, give a monthly or one-time donation, or create a peer-to-peer campaign! Help create lasting impact in the lives of transition age foster youth in our community by changing the world, one youth at a time.

JIT volunteer opportunities are diverse and are compatible with a wide range of schedules, skills and interests. Volunteers can share knowledge by facilitating workshops or lend administrative support by helping out in the JIT office. Groups and organizations are welcome! Sign up for a Volunteer Welcome and help provide empowering, life changing choices to a former foster youth, today!
Volunteer Welcomes are available on the third Thursday of every month. When filling out the volunteer sign up form, you will be prompted to RSVP for the Volunteer Welcome that fits your schedule.
