The 10th annual Summer Blast served up a sun -soaked afternoon of fun, family, and friendship at Mission Bay, Crown Point last weekend. More than 100 JIT community members – participants, alumni, volunteers, investors, and their families joined the party.

Giant Connect Four, Jenga, and water gun fights – community building was the order of the day. For current and past participants, many of whom brought their kids, this was a multi-generational event.
Lunch was served from the Taquero, community members enjoyed lunch from picnic blankets and beach chairs in full view of the bay.
The Summer Bash was a star in the cap of Just in Time Community Connection Coordinator Monica Reyes, who took the lead on organizing the event.
After lunch, families and children were guided to the piñata. The day wrapped up with a raffle where participants had the chance to win Rebelution concert tickets, Padres tickets, and family game baskets.
