Celebrating a 100K Community!
Thanks to all our community partners
Did you know that Just in Time is committed to creating a 100K community within the next 10 years? More than 20 years of measurable impact has affirmed our transformative model of care – one based on relationships + resources where youth with lived experience in foster care take the lead. To reach our 100K goal, we are ‘scaling by sharing’ our proven theory of change with like-minded organizations around the nation!
Here are a few of our celebrated partnerships!
In December, members of the Fostering Hope team flew to San Diego from Colorado Springs to get a crash course in JIT’s community-based model and were special guests at our Annual My First Home for The Holidays event! In April, we returned the favor by visiting them in Colorado Springs where JIT CEO Don Wells and Lived Experience Coach Coordinator Samantha Harmer took a tour of their facility and hosted Coach Approach Workshops for their team!
Angel’s Landing is a new non-profit serving transition age foster youth in Utah where extended foster care (after the age of 18) is unavailable to most youth. Angel’s Landing is working with JIT to replicate our model in their area.
In April, HP hosted a site-tour and career panel for Just in Time’s NEXTJobs service. During the tour participants got to see the different departments, learn the history of HP and its workforce, and then went into breakout groups to discuss workplace culture and team building.
“We got to see the history of HP and how much effort and science it takes to develop their products. What was surprising was that they have so many different types of job positions that they offer. I learned so much.”
Jacob – JIT Participant
Just in Time has partnered with Stand Together Foundation since 2021.
Thank you to all Just in Time’s community partners! Together, we are transforming lives and empowering transition age foster youth around the country as we build a 100K Community!
