Halloween Spooktacular a Haunted Success
The JIT Community Comes Together to Create Lasting Memories
Nearly 100 JIT volunteers, participants, alumni, and their families got in the Halloween spirit at the 2nd annual Spooktacular at the Mission Valley office. Kids of all ages enjoyed 2 photo booths, including a 360° video platform, pumpkin decorating, and a costume contest for adults and children under 12.
“I loved the Spooktacular! It was a very fun celebration. I especially enjoyed everyone’s creativity, the spooky themes that the Trunk or Treat coaches came up with, and the real sense of community among everyone. The decorations, costumes, and themed activities made the event one to look forward to each year. “
The addition of the “Trunk or Treat” section hosted by Just in Time volunteers was a big hit. Thank you volunteers for bringing the creativity and love for our community!!
Upstairs, the JIT meeting room was transformed into a Haunted Maze featuring scary sections such as creepy clowns, zombie baby dolls, a butcher shop and a spidery entrance alcove that set the mood for what followed.
The JIT staff is already scheming on how to up the scares for next year…so beware!
