JIT Alumni Vanessa Davis shares spoken word about resilience, transformation and self-realization.

In this powerful video, JIT alumni Vanessa Davis invites viewers on an “exploratory journey” and “exercise in communal thinking.” Vanessa shared her original spoken word performance onstage at the US Grant during the Just in Time Book Launch in March.  

After joining the Just in Time community as a participant in 2012, Vanessa went on to become a JIT staff member where she played an integral role in establishing the Rise to Resilience service designed to mitigate the negative impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences within the JIT community. Today, she continues her empowered journey, assisting others on their path to healing as Chief Visionary and founder of the non-profit Rise and Thrive Healing Communities Inc.
