On April 17, at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla, Just in Time celebrated the retirement of JIT co-founder and fundraiser, Diane Cox, while also introducing Just in Time’s new Director of Philanthropy, Rajah Gainey.
Reflection, gratitude, and renewed purpose were the themes of the evening as guests enjoyed fine dining, a music performance by Lorronishae Escalona, Spoken Word by Sauna Johnson, and a live musical performance by Just in Time alumni.
As one of the first 25 youth to receive a gift basket in 2002, Rajah’s journey represents the impact of a caring community of support and lasting connection.
Now, after more than a decade of leadership in mission-driven work, including his recent role as Associate Director of Development, Office of Housing Administration at San Diego State University, Rajah returns to lead our philanthropic vision into a new chapter.
