Dr. Jill Ault – JIT’s Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Did you know that Just in Time has an in-house wellness team to provide onsite counseling to JIT participants and alumni?
Our team is led by Licensed Clinical Psychologist Dr. Jill Ault and is supported by JIT’s collaboration with Alliant University psychology graduate students to provide counseling sessions to JIT youth.
Participants can access one-on-one, couples or family counseling sessions and telehealth appointments. Best of all, there is no limit to how many sessions a youth can engage in and this resource is absolutely FREE.

DON’S LAST WORD
There’s a sign at our front next at Just in Time.
“How Are You Really?”
According to one recent study, 21% of U.S. adults experienced a mental health condition in 2020 and young adults ages 18 to 25 have the highest rate of experiencing any mental health concerns (30.6%) and the highest rate of serious mental illness (9.7%).
We’ve been acutely aware of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) impacts historically on the young people we serve and the adverse therapeutic experiences they were also subjected to while in care.
That’s why JIT made the decision to make access to reliable, responsive Mental Wellness services as a basic need priority in recent years. And we’re so excited about our success to date!
JIT participants have expressed great impact and appreciation with access to free counseling sessions with Dr. Jill Ault and the graduate level interns she supervises in partnerships with Alliant International University. It has been so beneficial that we’re receiving requests for couples and family counseling, group sessions and more!
In the year to come, we plan to meet those requests with Mental Wellness 2.0. Stay tuned for more info in the weeks to come.
