Serving up Gratitude: A Just in Time Thanksgiving
Tis the season of giving. Join us for a My First Home Drop Off Day!
Holidays are for connecting with loved ones, and that’s exactly what we did last week at the Just in Time 10th annual Thanksgiving celebration! More than 120 youth, including alumni and their young families, gathered at the JIT Thanksgiving dinner for trivia, raffles and, of course, a traditional Thanksgiving feast.

We were excited to be joined by our friends and scaling partners, Omni Family Foundation from Tennessee. As we build toward a 100K community, we are proud to connect and collaborate with like-minded organizations to bring meaningful relationships to foster youth across the nation.
In this season of abundance, we have so many things to be grateful for: Mission Hills United Church of Christ for opening their doors and sharing our table; Bekkers Catering for the heaping plates of turkey and candied yams (enough for everyone to take home for leftovers, which everyone knows is the best part of Thanksgiving Dinner) and most of all, the support of community members, like you!

It’s been a busy season with more youth than ever relying on us to help them flip empty first apartments into safe and cozy homes. This holiday season, give the gift of new house goods to a former young person from the JIT community. We are in most need of gently used couches, so if you’re upgrading this Black Friday, let us find your old sofa a new home!
