JIT participants and volunteers will be featured in iHeart Radio

Just in Time took a field trip to iHeart studios this week where we hit the airwaves to get the word out about JIT services and community building. Just in Time participant Michael Potterf and volunteer coach Shawn Forbes were the perfect ambassadors to deliver the message. 

Each took turns behind the mic recording spots for both participants and volunteer coaches. The Just in Time + iHeart relationship has been a long and prosperous one. Over the years, quite a few participants with nowhere to go, sometimes camping out in their cars, have learned about critical help just by being tuned to the right dial.  

 In addition to taking turns at the mic, Michael and Shawn were given a tour of the iHeart Radio studios and had the chance to meet radio personalities, including Executive Producer for Channel 93.3’s Gina the Latina and Frankie V. Morning Show, Chris Martinez. 

Earlier this month, iHeart donated Padres and Rebelution tickets for raffle at the JIT Summer Blast. The participant who won the concert tickets had never been to a concert before!  

We are grateful for our partnership with iHeart Media and all the youth they’ve helped us reach!
