Just in Time CEO Don Wells and longtime volunteer Dave Clark visited KUSI this morning to talk about the power of relationships and about community as a catalyst for hope when life feels overwhelming.
Dave has been a volunteer coach to a dozen Just in Time participants across multiple services – College Bound, Financial Literacy services, and Pathways to Financial Power (JIT’s Professional Development service.) He has also helped participants file taxes at our recent tax workshops, assisted them in getting their drivers licenses through our Changing Lanes service and even helped them move into their first apartments as a My First Home volunteer.
We are so grateful for volunteers like Dave. We could not do what we do without the hundreds of San Diego community members who donate their time and talent to the youth we serve.
