Just in Time Engagement and Empowerment Manager, Caitlin Radigan has been making the rounds! She recently attended the 5th Annual Women of Color Roar celebration where she had the opportunity to rub shoulders and share the JIT mission with California Senator Toni Atkins and City Councilwoman Monica Montgomery Steppe.
Earlier this month, Caitlin also attended a congressional event where she discussed challenges related to foster care with Mayor Todd Gloria and Assemblywoman Laura Friedman. Friedman has been instrumental in passing legislation to fund housing resources for transition age foster youth.
Before stepping into the role as Engagement and Empower Manager for Just in Time, Caitlin was a Just in Time participant. She has grown to be a powerful speaker and advocate for her peers and recently published an Op Ed in the Union Tribune about her experience in foster care and the changes she hopes to see realized in the child welfare space.
