National Volunteer Appreciation Week is April 22-27th!
For Volunteer Appreciation Week, we are sharing stories from some of our amazing Just in Time volunteers: Michele, Laurie, Ann, and Cappie from the San Diego Water Color Society.
With an emphasis on healing, Michele, Laurie, Ann, and Cappie have guided JIT youth on a five-months long journey of creative discovery. They have encouraged youth to explore a range of artistic styles and points of view while learning to trust and have confidence in their intuition and abilities.
Palette of Possibilities, an exhibition dedicated to art created by youth during this collaboration, will open Friday, May 3rd at the SDWS Liberty Station Gallery and will hang throughout the month of May, which is both Foster Care Month and Mental Health Awareness Month!
All artwork will be available for sale with payment going directly to the young JIT artists who created it!
Be sure to stop by at SDWS between 5pm – 8pm to show support!
2825 Dewey Rd, Suite 105. Building 202. San Diego, CA 92106
