Blenders, pots, pans, bedding – The My First Home moving truck pulled away from Saturday’s Flapjack Fundraiser with a belly full of new home furnishings for transition age foster youth.
In addition to in-kind donations, patrons helped us collect nearly $2K in direct donations, which will be used to keep the distribution center stocked and the My First Home truck deployed in service of JIT youth.
Thank you to Applebee’s for partnering with us and thank you to every person who came out in support of My First Home. This truly was a community event, and we are grateful for each and every last one of you!
