Esmeralda Muñoz joined the Just in Time community as a participant when she needed help with college. Today, she is a Just in Time’s Youth Services Director providing services to help her peers achieve financial literacy, access higher education and mental health resources, furnish first apartments and more. Her remarkable journey from fa youth impacted by foster care to a leader within the foster care community is one of the reasons why Esme was recently tapped by Union Tribune to be featured as “Someone San Diego Should Know.”
