Recently, Fox 5 invited Just in Time CEO Don Wells and lived-experience staff member Julia Reitsma on to talk about the Just in Time mission for Giving Tuesday. Julia, one of JIT’s newest staff members shared her personal story of entering the foster care system in highschool with only the clothes on her back. Seperated from her siblings, Julia, who was not connected to any organization like Just in Time was called upon to face those challenges by herself. Today, she works in service. of her peers, ensuring that the transition to adulthood is a little bit easier for those who come after her.
