Due to COVID-19, Just in Time for Foster Youth could not have their traditional Thanksgiving Dinner gathering. To still keep the community strong, they reimagined the event into a drive-through experience. Participants and alumni stopped by to pick up made-from-scratch dinners to enjoy safely at their homes. Holiday favorites such as turkey, ham, stuffing, and festive side dishes were prepared by Bekker’s Catering and served by JIT staff. Plus, every youth received special gifts thanks to our partners at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church, The Rancho Santa Fe Women’s Fund, and Aetna.
