Leading Change Luncheon with Sixto Cancel on ABC10

Community leaders, philanthropists, and stakeholders in Child Welfare gathered at the Hilton Bayfront for a Leading Change Luncheon, hosted by Just in Time for Foster Youth, and featuring nationally renowned foster care advocate Sixto Cancel.


Sixto, a recent recipient of a $47 million Audacious Project grant, inspired attendees with his personal story of resilience while emphasizing the importance of embracing lived experts, kinship and collaboration to empower those impacted by foster care.
